ART101 Junior Studio is the perfect blend of fun and learning to keep younger artists engaged. Emphasis is placed on discovery using mixed media (watercolour & soft pastel). This program is a broad introduction to the world of art through exploration of theory, art genres and master artists throughout history as well as practical skill building, planning and executing an artwork to completion. Students learn how to really see the information they would like to capture in an artwork. 

This is some serious learning disguised as play. Students are introduced to painting, collage and drawing with the use of watercolour, soft pastels as well as technical pens & pencils. At the end of each term, children will have completed 5 or so artworks documenting their artistic development.

PLEASE NOTE: Students require their own materials kit for use in class and at home.
