Suitable for artists aged 8 - 10yrs
Saturdays 8:30 - 10AM
A structured 9 week term focusing on exploration of colour & composition. Students will discover the modern masters and explore their style and themes. At the end of each term, students will have filled an art journal documenting their artistic progress.
Students will learn about:
- Sketching successfully
- Colour & colour theory
- Planning a composition
- Watercolour Techniques
- Soft pastel Techniques
Limited to 10 students per term so that each student is guided as an individual.
MATERIALS LIST: As students' progress is accelerated with continued work between studio sessions, participants will need their own art materials for use in the studio and at home - list available here .
