Gouache paint is the perfect medium as an introduction to painting for beginner artists. Being water soluble there is less mess and it is easy to work in a smaller scale on paper. As the favourite paint of illustrators and designers, gouache is a versatile medium that dries quickly. From more traditional painting approaches to contemporary stylised illustration, gouache paint's versatility makes it a great choice for newbie painters.

Students will require their own materials for use in the studio and at home. Materials list links to Amazon:

Classes are strictly limited to 10 students per term and preference is given to returning students before places are opened to new enrolments. The term is generally 10 weeks and the fee is $550, payable in full, 4 weeks prior to commencement of the term. As it is a date specific term program there are no make up sessions for missed classes, irrespective of reason for absence. In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled by the studio (extreme weather), a make up session will be arranged before the following term.
