Watercolour is better suited to young artists who have completed at least a term of our Sketch & Draw program. The challenge of watercolour requires students to plan complex sequences of steps meaning patience and maturity are required.
Students will learn a variety of methods of application as well as explore different stylistic approaches to a composition. The classes consist of artists working in a variety of mediums and each student is taught as an individual as well as limited group instruction.
MATERIALS:
As artists’ progress is accelerated with at home practice, students require their own materials and tools for use in the studio and at home. The list is available from Amazon with links below. Some items may come from Amazon international stores so it is best to order 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure delivery before commencement of the term. Free delivery is available to Prime members and orders over $59 (at time of publishing).

TERM FEES:
The Youth Studio Term Program runs for 9 weeks in line with Qld school terms.
The term fee is $500
Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to confirm your child's spot.
Please note that places are first offered to returning students before opening up for new students on the waitlist. Returning students places must kindly be paid for in full by the due date on the invoice, unfortunately failure to do so, will see your child’s place offered to new students.
PLEASE NOTE:
*This is a term program which is time-limited/date specific and there are no 'make-up' sessions or credits brought forward to the following term for missed classes, regardless of reason for absence.
*Term fees will not be adjusted for planned absences as your child’s place in the program is reserved for the entirety of the term program.
*In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a class, an alternative date and time will be scheduled during the term.
*Unfortunately we do not offer ‘trial’ classes.
